Weekly Service Sites: CLU, Boys and Girls Club What is your favorite Chadwick Service memory? I really enjoyed being apart of the poverty program Thanksgiving drive during the pandemic last year. I was able to interact with various families from the area we worked in and I really enjoyed talking with them about their holidays while handing out food. This experience allowed me to learn more about a local community, which is something I value greatly. Why do you do service? I do service because I believe it is very important to give back to your community and help those who are not as fortunate as I am. I also find the experiences I have had with service to be invaluable and very beneficial. What have you learned about yourself through service? I have learned that I love and cherish the connections I make with the people who I work with and I've also grown to become more responsible and respectful through my service work. Besides service, what else are you involved in? I play soccer and run Cross Country for Chadwick. I am also one of the leaders of the Christian Affinity Group and I am on Chadwick's Athletic Council, too. |
